Fenn Halflin and the Seaborn

See Fenn Halflin and the Seaborn in our catalogue and find out the secrets of Francesca Armour-Chelu’s success

In the sequel to Fenn Halflin and the Fearzero, Fenn is on the run from the Terra Firma and the monstrous Chilstone and trying to find the shadowy Resistance. Fenn must try and contact the Seaborn folk and make a last stand against Chilstone, who will literally let nothing stand in his path.

This was another rip-roaring read with the action and tension piled on apace. I really liked the Sargassons; their way of life, the sibilance of their speech and the archaic language they used was so evocative, it made me want to spend some time with them. I found them very restful and humane as a community.

Once again, this was a quick read, I zoomed through it and then felt a bit disappointed when I had finished it. I’m not sure if there’s going to be another book and although it had a very satisfying ending I’d love to find out what happens next to Fenn.
