Felixstowe Library to host Felixstowe Book Festival children's events

Written by · Published Jun 7, 2019

Felixstowe Book Festival returns for a seventh year from 27 - 30 June. Its wide-ranging programme includes several events for children and young people at Felixstowe Library.

The children's events kick off on Friday 28 June with the launch of Felixstowe.docs, an anthology of poetry and short stories written by young people from Felixstowe Academy about their town. The project was facilitated by our BLOC youth arts programme and steered by Felixstowe-born Young Adult author Hayley Young.

Children aged 9+ can also meet author and Suffolk librarian Sophie Green, who will be talking about her debut novel, Potkin and Stubbs on Saturday 29 June.

A full list of Felixstowe Book Festival children's events at the library follows.
