Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Toy Story 4, X-Men: Dark Phoenix

Toy Story 4

“Fourth instalment of the Disney-Pixar animated series. On Bonnie (voice of Madeleine McGraw)’s first day of kindergarten, she makes a new toy, a spork called Forky (Tony Hale), to join Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz (Tim Allen) and the gang. However, the spork is not comfortable with being a toy and wants nothing more than to be thrown back in the trash.

“When Bonnie and her family go on a road trip, the toys are all taken along for the ride and find themselves having to keep a close eye on Forky to make sure nothing happens to Bonnie’s beloved creation. They are helped by old friend Bo Peep (Annie Potts), who Woody finds discarded in an antiques shop, but her reappearance makes the cowboy question the real meaning of being a toy.”

The Secret Life of Pets 2

“Computer-animated children’s comedy sequel following the adventures had by a group of New York pets after their owners leave the house. Max (voice of Patton Oswalt) begins to feel anxious when he experiences new changes at home and so sets out to become a braver dog, while Snowball (Kevin Hart) harnesses his superhero abilities to help with a rescue mission.”

X-Men: Dark Phoenix

“When a NASA space mission fails, leaving its team of astronauts stuck in their shuttle in free orbit, the X-Men are recruited to venture into outer space to save them. However, their rescue goes wrong and Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) is caught in a horrific explosion. Against all odds, she survives, but as a result of the explosion she is mutated even further and her powers become extraordinary.

“The X-Men begin to fear her capability to carry out serious destruction, and when Jean, the Dark Phoenix, begins to sense their mistrust she goes rogue and puts many lives at risk. Will they ever be able to resurrect the real Jean or will they have to destroy the corrupted Dark Phoenix?”

Godzilla: King of the Monsters

“Sci-fi action adventure sequel starring Vera Farmiga, Kyle Chandler and Millie Bobby Brown.

“Five years after Godzilla wreaked havoc in San Francisco, a host of new titans have awakened to challenge his dominance. While a debate rages about whether the ancient monsters should be killed, the cyptozoological agency Monarch faces off against a group of eco-terrorists who seek to control the monsters and bring about the end of civilisation.

“As Godzilla battles with Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah, Monarch scientists Dr Emma and Mark Russell (Farmiga and Chandler) and their daughter Madison (Brown) are drawn into the conflict and race to avert global disaster.”

Men in Black: International

“20 years ago, the Men in Black erased the memories of a young couple who were witnesses to alien activity. They didn’t, however, erase the memory of their child who, two decades on, has found the MiB headquarters and is demanding a job.

“After an interview with Agent O (Emma Thompson), the newly-appointed Agent M (Tessa Thompson) is given a tutor in the form of Agent H (Chris Hemsworth) who is tasked with showing M the ropes of MiB. When a series of alien attacks are reported in London, M and H are sent on a mission to save the world.”

Nativity Rocks!

“British children’s comedy sequel in which a school puts on a nativity production with a twist. This year, at St Bernadette’s primary school, the children and staff are tasked with the challenge of competing against other schools for the Christmas Town of the Year competition. With the wacky new teaching assistant Mr Poppy (Simon Lipkin) on hand to help out and bring an exciting new flair to the nativity, the school are well on their way to reaching regional stardom.”
