Angel Has Fallen, Dora and the Lost City of Gold, Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw

Once Upon a Time in… Hollywood

“Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in… Hollywood visits 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing, as TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) make their way around an industry they hardly recognise anymore. The ninth film from the writer-director features a large ensemble cast and multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age. “

Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw

“David Leitch directs this spin-off action drama from the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise set two years after the events in Fast & Furious 8 (2017).

“Still holding resentment for each other after Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) was put in jail by Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson), the tough duo have no choice but to work together when an MI6 agent-turned-terrorist threatens to unleash a deadly virus. With Shaw’s sister, MI6 agent Hattie (Vanessa Kirby) in possession of the virus after she stole it from terrorist Brixton Lore (Idris Elba), Hobbs and Shaw must team up to protect Hattie and keep the biological weapon out of the wrong hands.

“Brixton, however, has been genetically enhanced and Hobbs & Shaw might just meet their match at last. Will they be able to save Hattie from the wrath of Brixton and put a stop to him before it’s too late?”

Angel Has Fallen

“Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman return to star in this American action thriller sequel.

“Following the events of London Has Fallen (2016), US Secret Service agent Mike Banning (Butler) is framed for the attempted murder of the President of the United States (Freeman) after he is the only member of his team to survive the assassination attempt. Knowing he has been set up, Banning is forced to go on the run, pursued by the Secret Service and the FBI, and attempts to clear his name by finding the real threat to the president’s life before it strikes again.”

Dora and the Lost City of Gold

“Isabela Moner stars as Dora in this family adventure based on the children’s TV series, also starring Eva Longoria, Michael Peña and the voice talents of Benicio Del Toro and Danny Trejo.

“Dora is sent from her home in the jungle to attend high school with her cousin Diego (Jeffrey Wahlberg) as her parents (Longoria and Peña) explore old maps that they hope will lead them to a lost city believed to have been part of the Inca civilisation and rumoured to be full of gold.

“On a field trip with her classmates Dora is abducted then transported back to the jungle and informed that her parents are in danger. Along with Diego and several classmates, as well as her pet monkey Boots (Trejo), Dora attempts to save her parents and also uncover the secrets about an ancient civilisation and its lost fortune.”

The Angry Birds Movie 2

“In The Angry Birds Movie 2, the flightless birds and the scheming green piggies take their beef to the next level when a new threat emerges that puts both Bird and Pig Island in danger.

“Red (Jason Sudeikis), Chuck (Josh Gad), Bomb (Danny McBride), and Mighty Eagle (Peter Dinklage) recruit Chuck’s sister Silver (Rachel Bloom) and team up with several pigs - Leonard (Bill Hader), his assistant Courtney (Awkwafina), and techpig Garry (Sterling K. Brown) - to forge an unsteady truce and form an unlikely super-team to save their homes.”

Playmobil: The Movie

“Children’s animation based on the Playmobil line of toys featuring the voice talents of Anya Taylor-Joy, Gabriel Bateman and Daniel Radcliffe.

“After being whisked away to the magical land of Playmobil, Charlie (Bateman) is taken prisoner by the evil Emperor Maximus (Adam Lambert). In an attempt to save him, his sister Marla (Taylor-Joy) teams up with food truck driver Del (Jim Gaffigan) and secret agent Rex Dasher (Radcliffe), who is investigating the top-secret organisation that is somehow causing citizens across the land to vanish into thin air. Together, they embark on a dangerous rescue mission that takes them through different worlds and sees Marla rediscover her sense of adventure.”
